Spilling the Tea

Readers report a pervasive sewage odor 😷🤢 in the passaggio pedonale through a major Strip resort’s Restaurant Row area. Could the funky fragrance be wafting from those canals? …

An Arts District British eatery has installed a fish & chips fryer 👀🐟🍟 that is waiting on final inspections. Too late for Lent, or on time for post-fast cravings? 😅

Pet Peeve of the Week

As a frequent solo diner, one of my biggest peeves is being ignored — especially when no effort is made to start even a brief conversation. I recently celebrated a milestone birthday at an off-Strip steakhouse on a quiet weeknight. Despite noting it on my reservation (and the hostess knowing), my server never asked if it was my first visit or a special occasion, and the manager walked by without a word. The food was good, but there was no connection at all. –Nancy F
